When John David and Russ bought the house a few years back, John David took several pictures as they demolished and worked...and he recently took some "after" pictures. I decided this week would be a great time to share. As you'll see, it has come a really long way...from a bachelor pad, to the Chambless Ranch. We still have much more to do, but are really proud of the progress!

I love this one...oh how things have changed. The addition of a wife is the most noticeable change, but other changes to the outside include: a new flower bed with azaleas and the original crate myrtle, a new front door, and new overhang for the stoop.

As you can see, the backyard was a mess. John David, with the help of his parents, fixed the patio. He also cleared the fence row in the back and made flower beds on either side of the walkway, which will eventually house nice purple flowers. The storage shed and Puddin's kennel are also additions. John David's mom gave us the patio set. We are planning to paint it and get new cushions hopefully before summer's end.
