four...

Chams, jr. is already four whole months, and changing every day.

Four months is such a good age.  We're sleeping through the night and getting tons of reactions...laughing, smiling, and talking.  It's really a breath of fresh air from being in the newborn-trenches.

I feel like he learns something new every week.  This past week, he came home from school blowing raspberries.  I asked the teachers where he learned such a thing, and they said sometimes kiddos just learn things on their own.  Who knew.

Chams, jr. is also grasping things super well these days.  He loves his Sophie Girraffe, and his blocks.

He also has really started to love Chams...not that I'm jealous or anything.  Ugh.  They somehow have a boy connection that I'm not part of.

He sleeps on his tummy now that he can roll over, and he's loving it!  He doesn't love tummy time outside of sleep though...even though he is good at lifting his upper body up with his arms.

(he's really a Cubs fan, but his dad insists on him supporting a team that wins.  yikes.)

At his 4 month check-up yesterday, he weighed 16 pounds, 13 ounces and was 25 inches long.  Such a growing boy!  That's more than double his birth weight!

Just enough hair for a baby-mohawk!
To celebrate the 4th of July, we watched the fireworks with friends in the Brookwood parking deck.  Kinda ironic since we were there 4 months almost to the day bringing little Chams, jr. into the world.  The fireworks were going off in our hearts then, instead of over the Vulcan.

Chams, jr. didn't really pay attention to the fireworks.  Maybe it's because he was too busy with his friend Baby B.  They're the best of buds.

Happy 4 months, sweet little one!
